The Smart India Hackathon (SIH) Internal Hackathon is organized by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), Rajkiya Engineering College, Ambedkar Nagar to shortlist teams that will represent our college in Smart India Hackathon 2025, India’s largest innovation festival.
In this hackathon, students will work on real-world problem statements provided by organizations through SIH or propose their own under the Open Innovation Model. The goal is to encourage innovation, teamwork, and practical problem-solving.
Get Started-
Form a team of 6 members (at least one female participant is compulsory).

Select your problem statement from the official SIH problem pool or create your own under the Open Innovation Model.
Requirements

What to Build-
A prototype or solution addressing the selected problem statement.

Solutions may be software or hardware-based.

Hardware prototypes are not required to be fully functional if not feasible; a detailed design with a PPT presentation is acceptable.
Each team must submit:

Idea PPT (in the prescribed format shared by organizers).

Prototype/Demo Link (GitHub repo, screenshots, or demo video).

Problem Statement Title (with SIH PS ID, if applicable, or Open Innovation).

Innovation & Creativity
How original and creative is the idea? Does the solution offer a unique approach, new perspective, or improvement over existing solutions? -
Relevance to Problem Statement
How well does the solution address the selected SIH problem statement or proposed open innovation challenge? Is the solution practical and aligned with the real-world problem? -
Technical Implementation
How well is the solution executed from a technical standpoint? Is the prototype or PPT detailed, functional, and feasible? Does it demonstrate sound use of technology and tools? -
Impact & Scalability
What is the potential impact of the solution if implemented? Can it be scaled and applied in real-world scenarios? Does it solve the problem effectively for a larger audience? -
Presentation & Communication
How effectively is the idea presented to the judging panel? Is the PPT clear, structured, and easy to follow? Did the team communicate their concept within the given time (3 minutes) confidently?
